2 years ago reported by user-gjxv2864 business

Pork Sandwich, Buc-ee's, Gateway North Drive, Daytona Beach, FL, USA

2330 Gateway North Drive, Daytona Beach, 32117 Florida, United States

Presumed food poisening - Purchased a pork sandwich on Thursday Sept. 7, 2023 at approx. 2:00 pm. The sandwich really didnt taste right but I was hungry and ate it anyway. Later that evening started getting nauseous, weak, dizzy, chills, fever, etc. I was sick for a couple days and couldn't eat anything and the thought of that sandwich makes me never to want another one. | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Vomiting, Fever, Chills, Weakness, Dizziness

I doubt it was Buc-ee's or lots of people would have been sick.

Hi, thanks for your comments. You can get food poisoning from eating pork. A common infection associated with pork is Trichinosis. It can occur from eating undercooked pork that has been infested with larvae from a parasite called trichinella spiralis. Improper handling of pork and hygiene issues can also cause food poisoning. Have a great day!
