Additional information: Food was prepared properly. Bought two. First one didn't result in anyone being sick. Second one was prepared identically to the first. Everyone who had some reported some variety of symptoms within 12 hours after (cramping, diarrhea, chillds, nausea, etc).
Was not the store itself, but a frozen product it sells made by President's Choice (a food brand that I think may be affiliated with Loblaws, the franchise that owns Independent Foods).
The specific item in question was a frozen product called President's Choice Apple Crisp. It contains apples, oats, seasonings and other ingredients.
It is the only thing we purchased, two people in the house ate and then got sick Symptoms and onset time suggest salmonella. | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Nausea, Cramps, Chills
