Over the years I have experienced numerous instances of sudden attacks of loose bowels/soft stools after eating Quaker Oat Squares, not in every case, but often enough to be assured of the cause. The condition falls short of classic diarrhea, since the characteristic cramping and bloating are almost completely absent. Nonetheless, the cereal is now formally on my do not buy list. | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Bloating, Cramps
I just discovered they were the source making me ill for months. I didn't pinpoint the cereal as the cause until now. I discovered they list the ingredient maltrodextrin , which causes all those symptoms you listed both immediately and longer due to wreaking ones gut bacteria.
