On 22/31/18 , for something different and because I had $100.00 in gift cards...we decided to use pick up at Red Lobster, food was 14 minutes late... not so bad I thought, but whenI got it home.... cold, just a hint if ever being warm...it had obviously sat out a long time,I had the Ultimate Feast , my 18 year old son had theSeaside Shrimp Trio. I accidenlty used some of his Caesar Salad dressing on my salad...the shrimp and the Caesar Saladdressing ate the only things we had in common. Exactly 12 hours after we ate we both started experiencing nausea , vomiting Nd numerous foul watery diarrhea stool, 15 stool for me!! We used pick up... never again .. our food was cold!! He is a High School Basketball player and his season is in full swing, he is missing school and practice today 1/2/19. I am a Gasttoenterology Triage RN...,so kind of an “expert “with this type of thing! It is flu season, yes....but the timing... the fact that two othe family members ate their food...totally different than us and did not get sick....is odd...if it was the flu you would think they would have gotten it too!! We ate here last night around 4pm. I had the ultimate feast with lobster,steak ,potatoes,scampi,and broccoli. My daughter had the pastas with mussles,shrimp,and lobster in it. Around 1am she woke up with really bad cramps. I woke up at 5am with diarrhea and nausea. At around 8 a.m. we both had thrown up and still having extreme diarrhea.called my mother law to see if she felt sick same diarrhea and nausea. My father-in-law said his stomach just hurt. symptoms were acute vomiting, diarrhea, tremors, profuse sweating, pain, loss of control of my body for a while. I had to be taken to the hospital by ambulance. I was the only one who got sick. My husband didnt eat what I had. I became violently sick about 3 hours after eating there. Read More

Me and my fiancé decided to eat at red lobster. I ordered the lobster dip and a side of fries as my entree and had water to drink. When the waitress set our plates on the table I immediately smelled my lobster dip because it smelled a little bit too seafood if you know what I mean. I didn’t think it smelled fresh at all. I would describe it as seafood that was left oit without refrigeration. Anyway I told my fiancé that I was afraid to eat it and said I’m sure it’s nothing so he decided to try it. His conclusion was that it was fine. So I ate it. Even though something told me not too. Well an hour after we left, I started to feel sick. I thought I was tripping at first. I told my fiancé that I didn’t feel well and that it felt as if I was going to pass out. So I decided to lay down and my stomach began to hurt so bad. Like something I’ve never experienced before. I began to cry I was in so much pain. Then the vomit came. Boy oh boy I don’t think I’ve ever vomited so much in my life! My head began to ache. I had chills. I broke out in a sweat It literally felt like I was going to die. My fiancé rushed me to the hospital after violently vomiting for over an hour and crying out in pain hoping that this feeling would go away. The er doc was so understanding and after pain meds, nausea meds, and fluids I felt much better. My stomach still is a mess and the diarrhea has started but at least I am not in pain. We both ate the endless shrimp both are sick after 3 hours of eating it we tried the fiesta and ginger grilled also coconut bites we go there for my birthday every year never got sick before. Normally I would not complain but really sick had to take off work.and both had salad our server was very nice and took good care of us.
