Pink Chicken, Severe Illness - Restaurant Plage Bleue Agadir, Agadir Souss-Massa

Myself, my partner and our two children ate at the restaurant at approx 1.30pm/2pm on Wednesday 16th July 2025. I ordered the chicken skewers, my partner the pork chops and the children had pizzas. By the time it came to the end of my meal, I noticed the chicken was slightly pink so I left it, hoping it was just the one piece and not what I'd already consumed. A couple of hrs after we returned back to our hotel (Dunes D'Or) I had diarrhea and my stomach became bloated and sore. We had an excursion booked at the Fantasia Dinner Show later on in the evening. I was unable to eat anything as the nausea was unbearable. I managed to get through the evening for the sake of the children but no food was consumed. I managed a few sips of coke before I was back and forward to the bathroom. The night was ruined for me but my partner and the kids managed to eat and have fun.

When we returned home, I had the most intense stomach pains along with cramping and intense diarrhea. I also had awful chills and a headache. I got no sleep all night and was in so much pain. My partner ended up having to go to a late night chemist at approx 4am in a sketchy part of Agadir. They did not speak English but he managed to get some medication to ease some of the symptoms.

The next day, I was still very poorly. So much so that it was touch and go as to whether I'd be able to get the flight home which was later on in the evening. We were all supposed to go on a half day excursion to the cable cars, the market, zip line, and oil factory but I was so poorly that I couldnt leave the hotel. My partner was too worried to leave without me so everyone missed out and I lost almost £150.00 as we couldnt attend. I slept on a hotel chair until we were picked up for the airport. I was unable to eat my prepaid meal on the flight (more wasted money) and ended up sleeping for the majority of the flight. I then slept in the taxi and was unable to help my partner with the navigating.

I am still not 100% and it's now Sunday (28.07.2025). I havent been able to leave the house as my stomach is still painful and im struggling with my bowels.

I'm unsure what the next steps are but I would strongly advise a thorough investigation be carried out at the restaurant so no other tourists have to go through this. | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Stomach Pain, Cramps, Chills, Headache
