Myself and three family members all got a different slice of cake and shared it. My white chocolate cake tasted off. This was Saturday evening and within 12 hours one by one we all were hit with nausea, stomach pain then severe vomiting and diarrhea, followed by fever, body aches and headache. At 57, my husband and I almost ended up in ER from severe vomiting that lead to dehydration but we were too sick to drive! We think it was either Rick's on J st or Mel's Diner down the street where we had lunch the same day. Have there been other reports from either restaurant from February 21, 2026 customers? I have missed 3 days of work because of this, my husband missed two days and my daughter missed a day of work as well as my youngest missed two days of school. Purchased with debit card so can provide proof of purchase, date, time, and location. Severely ill! Stomach pains so bad and I have lost 6 lbs since Sunday between severe dehydration, vomiting and diarrhea. | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Vomiting, Stomach Pain, Fever, Cramps, Chills, Headache, Dehydration, Body Ache
