Tea Trouble: Rapid Diarrhea - Ruby Tuesday, West Columbia South Carolina

7 months ago reported by user-fymm7397 business

Ruby Tuesday, Augusta Rd, West Columbia, SC, USA

2504 Augusta Road, West Columbia, 29169 South Carolina, United States

my wife and i had salad bar, steak kabobs for her, American smash burger for me. both had sweet tea's. less than 1 HR, we both had bubbling in our gut with violent diarrhea. note: we did use lots of crushed eggs ,and bacon bits on our salad. the food has always been good. i suspect eye drops in the tea by disgruntled waitress. service was very lacking, and she had that shocked face when i tipped very good. 18%. i pray for ruby Tuesday that they can resolve their employ issues before we have to talk about ruby tuesday in pastence.
. I think it was the sweet tea | Symptoms: Diarrhea

WE WERE THERE ON MARCH 19TH 2024 AROUND 1800 HRS. note: my wife ate her leftovers much later at home , did not get ill from it. the one thing we both had in common was the sweet tea. the waitress gave us our tea from what appeared to be a stainless steel tea pitcher, after hearing me comment to my wife that i have not had a tea refill as of yet. she used that tea pitcher with us and no one else during our visit. our interactions were very friendly the whole time. my wife thinks maybe she overheard my comment about the tea, and thought maybe i would'nt tip well. i tipped better than 18% ,and the look on her said it all. I THINK MAYBE THE WAIT STAFF ARE USING THE TEA TO MAKE PEOPLE THINK THE FOOD COULBE BAD. this anger me to see servers use this tactic to hurt their employers
