Local Fish, Shared Illness - Sailing Goat Restaurant, Richmond California

On Sunday afternoon my friend and I wanted to enjoy a waterfront meal so we checked out Sailing Goat.
We both got the Fish and Chips - it tasted fine but by 9pm i was vomiting and having intense stomach pains as well as persistent and disruptive diarrhea. My friend reported similar symptoms and we both had to call out of work. It’s been 3 days and I still have diarrhea but the other symptoms have subsided.
The server said that all the fish was caught locally in the harbor but I find it fishy that we both got separate fish and both got sick. | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Vomiting, Stomach Pain
