Island Picnic Sickens 21 - Saona island, Punta Cana La Altagracia

We had a party of 72 people who went their for lunch and 22 of us got sick and one person went to the hospital.. It was an area in the Island where we were served food outdoors. We traveled there by boat. They had picnic tables set up where we could eat. In addition to meatballs ( which I think made me sick) they also served chicken, rice and a salad.We were there on Saturday ,August 19, 2023 at 2:00pm.We were a large group of 60 people and 21 of us got sick.. | Symptoms: Diarrhea
