Peanut Butter Illness Warning - Target, Houston Texas

3 years ago reported by user-tgvhx348

Skippy Peanut Butter, Target, Houston, TX, USA

Houston, Texas, United States

I bought a jar of Skippy from my local store on December 8, 2022. That same night, my child and I ate it and both felt very ill. Nausea, slight fever, and stomach ache. Next day we woke up with upset stomach. We continued to eat it and began feeling worse each time. All month I'm in and out of the ER due to abdominal pain and nausea. Finally, the diarrhea kicked in. It was severe. I ended up being admitted to the hosting because it was so bad. I eat some Skippy when I get home from the hospital and the same night, my child and I get sick again. I thought it was a bug that had run its course but it was because we had stopped eating Skippy. Don't eat the skippy. | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Vomiting, Fever, Stomach Pain

People kept saying they got medical care after getting sick from Skippy creamy peanut butter, but no one updates on what testing found? I hope if they found a pathogen like salmonella people would post that here and report it to local board of health, Hormel, and the FDA. What did your testing in the hospital show?
