My 5 yo ate a can of spaghetti o’s with meatballs and hours later at bedtime, complained of itching all over. At 2am he woke up suddenly and threw up all of his dinner right there in the bed. He didn’t have enough time to move from where he sat. I noticed little red areas on the back of his neck, ribs and back of his legs. Looks like hives. He then fell back asleep and has no fever. I gave him a children’s antihistamine. He’s eaten the spaghetti o’s a few times before and I didn’t notice any symptoms but I might not have realized. We get bad reactions to mosquito bites so we’ve been itchy often. I think I’ll reframe from feeding him spaghetti o’s for a while. I usually don’t buy canned foods like that but he asks for it so I figured why not? Well, now I know. | Symptoms: Vomiting, Itching
