Egg Bites Trigger ER Visit - Starbucks, Folsom California

Thursday, May 11, 2017, I purchased bacon egg bites from Starbucks at 7:30AM. When I ate the second egg bite, it tasted funny. Different but I ate it anyway. By 1:30P, my stomach was cramping and the diarrhea began. I drove home at 3:45PM and the vomiting started along with the diarrhea. I hadn't eaten anything since 7:30AM. Had the chills, a slight fever and I couldn't keep any water down. Got dehydrated. Called advice nurse who told me I needed to go to the ER. I was tachy, pulse rate over 100 due to dehydration. Two IV bags and nausea medicine later, I was released at midnight. | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Fever, Nausea, Vomiting, Dehydration, Chills, Cramps
