Airport Sandwich Illness Report - Subway, Minnesota

9 years ago reported by user-dmnz8624 business

Subway Minneapolis-St.Paul International Airport

55111 Minnesota, United States

Ate here before a flight to San Diego. Veggie bin contents were down to the bottom. The bins didn't look like they were "sweating", like you would expect if they were cold. The server took a wad of rotisserie chicken and microwaved it, poked it then microwaved it again before putting it on top of the veggies. Don't know if it had come out of the freezer or what. At that point I'm thinking I don't have time to go anywhere else and did not want to eat airplane food. Should be OK, it's a Subway. By the time I hit San Diego and was driving out of the airport 5 hours later, churning stomach, gas, then terrible diarrhea. Couldn't stomach anything for 2 days. | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Fever, Gas, Sweating
