I stop by this gas station to get gas, went inside the convenience store to pay for my gas on 2/17/23 between 5pm-6pm .I’ve seen these pretzel sandwiches they look fresh, I was hungry I bought two of them they are turkey and cheese my husband ate his immediately after I gave him his sandwich, shortly after he start going back and forth to the bathroom he had diarrhea, upset stomach and lower abdominal pain. I call the convenience store talked to an assistant manager, she offered to reimburse me for the one sandwich, she also said that those sandwiches were brought in by the vendor sometime yesterday (2/17/23).That pretzel sandwich caused my husband symptoms because prior to him eating that sandwich he was fine. I wanted to add, that I was scared to eat mine because of my husband being sick from eating his, I took a couple of photos of that sandwich if you need it.
update 02/20: I took my husband to see his PCP (Primary Care Provider) this afternoon 2/20/23, he had a 2:50 pm appointment and his physician did confirm that he definitely has food poisoning it’s still remains in his system, that’s what cause the symptoms he has, the infection from the food poisoning caused his diarrhea and slight vomiting that explains his abdominal pain. | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Stomach Pain
