I ate Taco Bell yesterday evening and in the middle of the night I woke up feeling nauseous and started vomiting along with diarrhea and chills all through wee hours.I order a chicken soft taco shredded chicken quesadilla and nachos.As of right now Im still having vomiting diarrhea and chills.

“We got the $5 bell grande box and it tasted funny, nothing about it tasted right. It has meat, Refried beans, tomatoes, sour cream, cheese. After we ate it the next day my fiancé and I were throwing up and diahrea and our stomachs are aching really bad all night and day.”

“I was fine immediately after eating the bean burrito with no cheese, which tasted funny at the time (very gritty). This is my usual order, as I go once a week and never have problems. A couple of hours later, I started to get a headache, and when I woke up the next morning, and experienced multiple... rounds of diarrhea. Now it's 3 hours after I've woken up, and my stomach still doesn't feel great.”

“Grande Nachos $5 box. Ate food in afternoon. Terrible stomach pain later same night. Next day seemed o.k. but following day started having uncontrolable diarrhea. After 3 days of nonstop diarrhea went to ER. Had become dehydrated with renal failure. Body was in shock. Had to remain hospitalized for... 4 days.”

Recall details: Wismettac Asian Foods, I... nc., Santa Fe Springs, CA is issuing a voluntary recall for Shirakiku brand imported Dried Fungus (also known as Black Fungus or Kikurage) because it has the potential to be contaminated with Salmonella, an organism which can cause serious and sometimes fatal infections in young children, frail or elderly people, and others with weakened immune systems. Healthy persons infected with Salmonella often experience fever, diarrhea (which may be bloody), nausea, vomiting and abdominal pain. In rare circumstances, infection with Salmonella can result in the organism getting into the bloodstream and producing more severe illnesses such as arterial infections (i.e., infected aneurysms), endocarditis, and arthritis.
The product was distributed to restaurants in Arkansas, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Washington DC, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Mississippi, North Carolina, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, Washington, Wisconsin and British Columbia in Canada.

Wismettac is initiating the recall after the California Department of Public Health discovered the presence of Salmonella in the product. The manufacturer has been made aware of the issue and is conducting an investigation to determine the cause of the issue so corrections can be implemented.
To ensure consumer safety, all distribution of the affected product has ceased and restaurant customers have been notified for the product removal. Consumers with questions may contact the company at email@example.com.
