In-Flight Illness After Tacos - Taco John's, Casper Wyoming

4 years ago reported by user-qcmg9634 business

Taco John's, East 2nd Street, Casper, WY, USA

4031 East 2nd Street, Casper, 82609 Wyoming, United States

My sister and I stopped there on Friday February 26th, at around 11:30 AM. She got a bean burrito and I ordered two tacos. We are at the airport then had to catch a flight out of town from Casper to Salt Lake and we boarded the flight at 3:46 PM. About 30 minutes into the flight I became very nauseated and then vomited every 30 minutes until we reached Spokane. As I drove home I had to stop and vomited 2 more times. A very restless night and still feeling very tired and sore around my back and stomach. I called them to tell them about this, asked to speak to a manager. When I told her about my symptoms she replied that "we throughly clean all of our untinsils and you wouldn't see and affects until several hours after becoming sick, said in a very rude way..I'm sorry if this happened." Well this manager needs to be educated on the timeframes for food poisoning and that cleaning untinsils is not the problem! Good for them that they take the time to clean their untinsils, but it's the food they are serving! I told her I would be reporting this to the local health department and she hung up on me. Very irritating as I'm sure this happens a lot and is totally missed by their local public health authorities. Something should be done to have this location and other restaurants verified for public safety reasons. For now, stay away from this establishment!! | Symptoms: Nausea, Vomiting, Other, Soreness
