Quesadillas Cause GI Distress - Taco Time, Puyallup Washington

7 years ago reported by user-ngtnb411 business

Taco Time, Meridian East, Puyallup, WA, USA

15802 Meridian East, Puyallup, 98373 Washington, United States

We love Taco Time, have been lifelong customers, and have never had to complain until now. Yesterday, 3/26/2018, at around 3:15 pm, we were in the area, so we stopped at the Taco Time at Meridian and 158th in Puyallup. We got what we usually get: quesadillas and Mexi-fries. My 2 year old, thankfully, barely touched her quesadilla, because I think the quesadillas are what made us sick. She ate a small box of Mexi-fries, and she is fine. Within a couple of hours, though, my 16 year old and myself starting feeling weak and feverish. We had other stops to make and I kept having to stop for the bathroom. Lots of upper GI cramping, severe nausea, and painful diarrhea. My daughter and I both felt almost like a band of air or bloating around the upper GI area. Today, we woke up, still not feeling great, but a bit better than we were last night. I thought I should report this, because I now know it’s specifically this Taco Time location. Two weeks ago, we went there, buying the same things, and got sick then, too. Flu was also going around our household at that time, so I didn’t think it could be the food making us sick. Now, I’m certain of it. Either some major santization has to take place, employees need to improve their hygienic practices, or they’re not preparing the food in a safe manner. | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Fever, Nausea, Bloating, Cramps, Weakness
