Rib Eye Steak Illness - Texas Roadhouse, Kenosha Wisconsin

Saturday afternoon (02-29-20) I ate half of a 16 oz rib eye steak (medium well). Sunday morning I woke up with severe diarrhea and was in bed all day with continuous diarrhea episodes. Monday morning I vomited 7 times and expelled multiple chunks of fat and meat, and had diarrhea all day which continued into Tuesday. Since my wife ate with me on Saturday (she had a filet mignon, medium well) and didn't get sick, she was convinced that my 25 radiation treatments to date were finally catching up with me. On Monday (3-2-20) afternoon she ate the remaining half of my rib eye steak. On Tuesday she had severe diarrhea and vomiting, and now is sure that my sickness was due to the rib eye and not my radiation treatments. As of tonight (Thursday) she is still bed ridden with nausea and abdominal pain. We are both 75 years old, and in reasonably good health except for my prostate cancer. | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Nausea, Vomiting
