Non-Alcoholic Drink Illness - The Botanist York, York England

On Saturday, July 11 my husband and I ate at the Botanist in York. For dinner we both had the botanist bowl, but I had the "Botanist Mule" (one of their non-alcoholic cocktails) with my dinner. About an hour after dinner, I started to experience terrible stomach pains that led to profuse vomiting for several hours, horrible diarrhea, and blood in my stool for a few days. My husband and I ate all the same things that day before we were at the restaurant as well, and so the only outlying factor was the drink. I suspect perhaps some of the vegetables, fruit, or juices were contaminated in some way. We were visiting from abroad and a week later I am still recovering, after a trip to the emergency room. | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Vomiting, Stomach Pain, Cramps
