The Cheesecake Factory, South 27th Street, Pittsburgh, PA, United States
June 29, 2016 5:28 PM
425 Cinema Drive, Pittsburgh, 15203 Pennsylvania, United States
My boyfriend and I are visiting Pittsburgh because he had a meeting with people at Carnegie Mellon. We thought Cheesecake Factory was a safe bet to eat at after being unable to agree on anything else local. He ordered a BBQ Smokehouse burger. The next morning, he woke up grumpy and was complaining that he felt unwell. Normally, he could eat 10 horses when he woke up, but he didn't want to eat anything. Later, he vomitted in a Starbucks bathroom, but felt like there was more to be purged. He went on with his meeting, but still he had trouble having an appetite or even wanting to drink anything. It's the next day and he's still complaining about nausea and cramping. (Also note that I had a pasta dish and had no problems, so yeah just don't go with the burger.)

My boyfriend has severe diarrhea. Be careful! ”

“I had the Cajun Jambalaya Pasta and within a few bites I felt nauseous and couldn’t finish, I thought it was just me since it was my first time. I got home and went straight to sleep after being so dizzy and during that whole night I kept waking up on the hour with excruciating abdominal pains and d... iarrhea. This lasted about 3 days with only about 6 bites so I’m happy I didn’t eat it all. ”

I should’ve spoke up.

I’ve been trying to trace it at first I thought it was the food that I ate from there but I froze my bday cheese cake and I’m now realizing it’s the damn cake. The cake look... ed a little weird because in the pictures it’s pink, blue and chocolate stripes with vanilla cake. But the cake I got had a purple ish look to the chocolate and vanilla cake. Ugh this hurts so bad and makes your stomach feels so tender. ”

“On Mother’s Day 2020 I got food, chicken carbonara, to go from here. When eating meal I started to feel ill and wasn’t able to finish it. I went to bed early and woke up at 6:00 AM with excruciating abdominal pain. When I went to the bathroom I was pooping only blood. I went to the hospital and... was admitted and kept for 5 days. I was diagnosed with food poisoning. My doctor told me to call the restaurant and let them know so nobody else would get sick. I did call and was informed by a representative from the restaurant to submit diagnosis along with doctors bills for review as they would make things right. I submitted bills along with diagnosis , and they refused to pay bills. What they did offer was a $100 gift card for their restaurant, which I will not accept, why would I ever eat someplace that made me so ill! I want them to do the right thing and pay my bills! Do not eat here they have no integrity and almost killed me! #foodpoisoning #dotherightthing ”

B&G Foods Organic Rosemary & Olive Oil Stoneground Wheat Crackers - recalled due to Undeclared peanut
October 9, 2020 9:00 PM
“Company name: B&G Foods
Brand name: Back to Nature
Product recalled: Organic Rosemary & Olive Oil Stoneground Wheat Crackers
Reason of the recall: Undeclared peanut
FDA Recall date: October 09, 2020
Recall details: Company Announcement B&G Foods announced today it is voluntarily recalling a ver... y limited number of boxes of a single date code of 6 oz. Back to Nature Organic Rosemary & Olive Oil Stoneground Wheat Crackers, with a “best by” date of APR 25 2021, after learning that a very limited number of the cracker boxes were inadvertently filled with foil wrapped pouches of peanut butter cookies, which contain peanut, an allergen undeclared on the label. People who have an allergy or severe sensitivity to peanut run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume the cookies contained in the recalled boxes. There is no health risk associated with this product for individuals without an allergy to peanut. This recall affects only a very limited number of boxes of the following product, which may have been distributed in retail stores nationwide:
Back to Nature Organic Rosemary & Olive Oil Stoneground Wheat Crackers (6 oz.) UPC: 8-19898-01015-8. Best By Date: APR 25 2021 (The “best by” date is located on the top of the box.)
This recall does not apply to any other “best by” dates, sizes or varieties of Back to Nature products.
No allergic reactions related to this matter have been reported to date. This recall was initiated in cooperation with the FDA and the third party co-packer that produced the product.
B&G Foods discovered this issue when it received consumer complaints that the foil bags within two boxes of Back to Nature Organic Rosemary & Olive Oil Stoneground Wheat Crackers contained peanut butter cookies. The foil bags do correctly indicate whether the product contains rosemary & olive oil crackers or peanut butter cookies.
A third party co-packer inadvertently used a small number of Back to Nature Organic Rosemary & Olive Oil Stoneground Wheat Crackers product boxes in connection with a production run of peanut butter cookies. Back to Nature Organic Rosemary & Olive Oil Stoneground Wheat Crackers were not produced on that date. As such, B&G Foods believes this recall impacts only a handful of boxes of Back to Nature Organic Rosemary & Olive Oil Stoneground Wheat Crackers. However, out of an abundance of caution, B&G Foods is issuing this recall for boxes with this particular “best by” date that have been shipped to its customers. Product with this particular “best by” date may have been shipped and distributed by B&G Foods to its customers’ warehouses located in Arizona, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Georgia, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Kentucky, Maryland, Maine, North Carolina, New Hampshire, New Jersey, Nevada, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Texas, Washington, and Wisconsin.
Consumers who have purchased the recalled product can return it to the place of purchase for a full refund. Consumers seeking a refund or additional information may also contact B&G Foods by calling 855.346.2225 Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

“burrito bowl Got a burrito bowl delivered which was a little late but still warm on arrival. The chicken was very chewy and slightly rubbery. Stomach started making weird noises and then it bloated out really bad. Approx 45 min after eating it, the cramps got so bad that I sat on the toilet. It... then started (diarrhea) and has been on and off with nausea for over two hours. I am in severe pain and dizziness and feels like it will never end. I am contemplating going to the ER. ”

“A foreign object stuck me in the mouth while eating food prepared at this location! I got sick eating their food and my lab results tested positive for E Coli! I accrued over $1,000 in medical bills and they tell me because no body else reported that they fell ill eating their food, they would not... claim responsibility for the E Coli. BUT they linked the thorny object to their beans! What the heck!! Listen... when people buy food from a restaurant, they trust it will they will be safe and healthy. NOT HERE! NOT THIS PLACE! When something like this happens they should be held accountable for their negligence! From the distributors to the food preparer! Management too! When I called to report it, their manager interrupted me as if I was a bother to him. He said “yeah yeah” so I would hurry up and say what I had to say. No empathy, no urgency, no concern and no responsibility. They don’t care about the customer or their well being! Negligent from the top.... down! ”
