Vacationed with 15 people total. June 9-18, 2021. June 15- explosive diarrhea and over course of evening every few hours. June 16- unable to leave room- sickness overwhelming with diarrhea, nausea, stomach cramping, body aches and low grade fever. Attempted Pepto- did nothing but somewhat help with cramping. Continued for 24 hours. June 17- diarrhea would hit after trying to eat all day and night. Left on June 18. Diarrhea continued every day after each meal and fatigue was overwhelming. Contacted primary physician exactly one week (6/25) after returning home… given a 3 day dose of Cipro. Advised stool sample would be needed if this did not provide relief. Diarrhea stopped but then constipation hit and bloated stomach with gas. 6/28- started a cold that both my husband and son brought back from Mexico. July 1- started to feel better and not exhausted and continually dehydrated no matter how much I drank. 7/10/2021 back to normal?! | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Fever, Fatigue, Body Ache, Gas, Cramps, Dehydration, Bloating, Constipation
