Tomato Recall Suspected Illness - The Little India, Chicago Illinois

8 months ago reported by user-jwrxr294 business

The Little India, West Bryn Mawr Avenue, Chicago, IL, USA

1109 West Bryn Mawr Avenue, Chicago, 60660 Illinois, United States

I made my usual order (naan, bhutara, chicken tikka masala) and was fine the first day, when I only ate the naan and bhutara. The second day, I ate the chicken tikka masala, and roughly 6-8 hours later, got extreme nausea, fever, chills, headache, diarrhea, vomiting, and stomach pains. I have made this same order dozens of times over the last decade and never had an issue- I did see a tomato recall for several states including IL for possible salmonella contamination, and this was the only tomato-related thing I've eaten in over a week, which is what makes me think this is the cause. | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Stomach Pain, Cramps, Chills, Headache, Fever, Vomiting
