All 9 of our family came down with food poisoning while staying at the Sens. Vomiting nausea chills diarrhea.On 12/26 had to cancel our flight home and stay two more days as we were too sick to fly. We are all still pretty miserable and some of us still having diarrhea including my 7 year old. My FIL was just admitted to the hospital yesterday with acute kidney failure and we are hoping he won’t need dialysis.
I was assuming this was E. coli but did not think it was the shiga type. They did send a stool sample for my FIL but we haven’t had testing. Our docs ordered us adults cipro. The three kids with us are all still having diarrhea and tired but getting better slowly. My FIL’s labs are improving so so far no dialysis needed thankfully.
Ours all started 12/27 and still ongoing diarrhea for most of us on day 11 😩 | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Vomiting, Stomach Pain, Cramps, Chills, Headache
