Steak Leads to Severe Illness - The White House Inn, Wilmington Vermont

Ate at The White House in on Saturday night, my first meal since breakfast. I went to bed feeling like I ate too much but otherwise fine. I woke up abruptly at 2:30am with digestive upset and indigestion and ran to the bathroom with diarrhea. I drank some soda water hoping that would relieve some of the indigestion. About an hour of pain later, I started vomiting, more diarrhea, fever, shaking with delirious chills and cold sweats. The entire next day I couldn't get out of bed - waking up every few minutes only to drift back off. I had incredible abdominal and muscle pain that made even lying there miserable. I woke up Monday morning feeling like the worst of it was gone. I believe it was the steak. | Symptoms: Diarrhea, Fever, Nausea, Vomiting, Chills, Sweating, Stomach Pain, Shaking, Muscle Pain, Migraine, Indigestion
