Ordered a steeped tea, orange pekoe, an old fashioned donut and a raspberry filled donut. Both donuts were stale but ate them anyway. The tea however was lukewarm, so I went to the counter (we stayed in restaurant...this was not 'to go') and was given another cup. This was also lukewarm and bitter. We finished the donuts and only a bit of the tea as it was undrinkable. Did not bother returning this cup as it seemed that the same tea was poured out of the same teapot as the first. Within a half hour we felt bloated and nauseous. This is not the first time to be served bitter tea, and coffee, for that matter. Must have been on the burner a lot longer than 20 minutes, and turned off...should have been discarded and a fresh one made. We have experienced bitter tea and coffee and stale food, before at various T/H's throughout BC, AB, Now we know that the nausea we felt this time was no coincidence...from all the other times. Not worth going back if means taking a chance getting food poisoning. | Symptoms: Nausea, Bloating
