Spoiled Mussels Cause Illness - Wallich Street, Singapore

6 years ago reported by user-gqtrd831 business

Wallich Street, Pura Brasa Singapore, Singapore

5 Wallich Street, Singapore, 078883 Singapore

I am writing to address an unfortunate incident that occurred because of the food served at your restaurant on 10 Oct 2019.

The mussels served was completely uneatable. I had my first pieces of mussels together some chicken and romance leaves, I can taste something spoiled and the taste was really bad, but I wasn’t sure where was the bad taste came from. I suspect the muscles weren’t fresh so I tried the second piece and the fishy taste was unbearable. Subsequently, We called the waitress to complain and we change the mussel dish to Jamon Bellota with bread.

Despite their waitress have cancelled the mussels for us, the lunch meal had other, unfortunate, effects.

Several hours after the meal, I was ill with diarrhoea. Thus I had to use the toilet often and I wasn’t able to continue with my work on the same day in the afternoon. Until the next day, the diarrhoea didn’t seem to go away. Thus I have to visit the Duxton Medical Clinic and I was evaluated by Mr. Ho. He diagnosed me that my illness was due to unfresh food and I was unfitted to work. The medication was given to me with 2 more days of MC.

I have called and written to the restaurant managedment however no response was received. I felt disappointed for that | Symptoms: Diarrhea
