Turkey Dinner Causes Illness - Walmart, Phenix City Alabama

11 months ago reported by user-ngnn9512 business

Walmart Neighborhood Market, U.S. 80, Phenix City, AL, USA

3864 U.S. 80, Phenix City, 36870 Alabama, United States

Suspected food poisoning. Symptoms: Diarrhea
Suspected source: Thanksgiving Turkey
Onset: 4 to 12 hours
Duration: Several days
Sick: Me
Additional information: I thawed the turkey properly and I cooked it to temperature according to directions by testing it with a meat thermometer. It was just me and my little dog eating the turkey. It tasted great and didn't smell funny and I refridgerated the leftovers properly. It's definately the turkey, because even my little dog is experiencing mild diarrhea as well as myself. It lasts a day or two and goes away. I threw the rest of the left overs out. | Symptoms: Diarrhea
