Purchased marketside organic spring mix salad on 7/29/22. Last night (7/31/22) proceeded to do a quick rinse on it and made a full salad with our dinner. Got 3 bites into it, and felt something very crunchy inside my mouth like plastic. I proceeded to spit everything in my mouth out into a napkin, and made the horrid discovery of an insects head! I looked further, and discovered that it was either a grasshopper or locust that was stuck in with the lettuce mix. I kept the remains in a zip lock bag.Today (8/1/22) I took the remaining salad out to my parent's chickens as no one else wanted to touch it after the incident the night before, and made the discovery of yet another insect inside the mix! You could tell by both that they were dead for awhile, which probably happened during processing or packaging. I have now been nauseated for 24 hours since eating the first bug, and having other gastric issue's. | Symptoms: Nausea, Gas
