On 12/25/2025 at 7:30 PM I ordered a peppermint hot chocolate with oat milk, whipped cream, and two shots of espresso from Wawa located 2373 SW Archer Road, Gainesville, FL 32608. At around 8:30 I began experiencing stomach cramps and diarrhea. At 12:00 AM I started vomiting, with cold sweat, chills, fever, and continues cramps and diarrhea. It is now 11 AM and I have not improved; I spent the entire night on the bathroom floor puking and having diarrhea, unable to sleep, so I am at urgent care right now receiving IV fluids and medication. There is no possible way it was anything other than the hot chocolate. I had lunch with my partner around 4:00 PM that day, we both ate the same food and I was fine. I did not start feeling ill until I had the hot chocolate. I did not even eat dinner because I was so ill. There's nothing else it could be. | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Vomiting, Stomach Pain, Fever, Cramps, Chills
