Green cabbage is contaminated with fungus. I bought yesterday one head of green cabbage and have noticed black spots on the upper leaves, I removed them and cooked salad, but unfortunately, salad got that mold flavor, it was impossible not to notice that, even there was no black spots deeper inside.I believe that storage conditions are not properly met. The they sell cabbage wet and constantly spray all vegetables with build-in sprinkles at the retail department. Why?! Just to make it look fresh?! But you are growing mold and fungus in the cabbages and other vegetables. Advise - move cabbage to a different shelves, that contains no water sprinklers.
