Food poisoning or gastro from dinner at Refugio. Affected me after dinner. Several other people were also affected as evident in the morning people lying in bed / trying to get help. Staff were not surprised and said it was going around in recent months.  | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Vomiting, Gas

Both my husband and I came down with food poisoning during the W trek. It was likely from the Central Refugio meals or boxed lunch but possibly Frances or Paine Grande. We know of 6 other people who got food poisoning on the W trek.  | Symptoms: Nausea, Diarrhea, Vomiting, Stomach Pain, Fever, Cramps, Chills
