Patrick Quade, founder of and, was interviewed on the most recent episode of the BBC podcast The Food Chain called a “Poisonous Business”. Patrick shared the beginnings of the platform, and how it has had a positive impact for consumers, public health agencies, and industry.

He also discussed how the website had grown from a small website to catch major outbreaks across the US and now partnering with Public Health agencies, improving the reporting rate of foodborne illness and helping to increase the data these agencies and industry manages on this issue.

He also had the opportunity to discuss how our data is managed responsibly and some of the industry criticism the site faces. This interview has helped gaining exposure and understanding of what does and how this has a positive impact on our community.

The Food chain is a BBC podcast, which examines the business, science and cultural significance of food, and what it takes to put food on people’s plate.

See More know to grab 2 pain killers - mint tea - ibs tablet to calm the craps (works even if it’s not ibs) I spent a good 2/3 hours on the toilet and I still have a pretty bad tummy ache now.
