Massachusetts Department of Public Health along with Boston authorities initiated an investigation to determine the cause and the nature of an outbreak of foodborne illness linked to the Chipotle Mexican Grill location near Cleveland Circle. This outbreak affected more than 120 Boston College students.Laboratory testing confirmed the presence of norovirus. The investigation started after the Health Authorities received reports of multiple cases of gastrointestinal illness among patrons who ate at this restaurant.
