I gave him $22.72 for a $7.32 charge (he assumed that the extra $2 was a tip); however, I informed him that I wanted $15 back ... which was logical to me since I had 6x$1 bills but I didn't have 7x$1, so I was merely trying to prevent myself from getting too many extra $1 bills. In either case, within an hour or so after eating the cinnamon raisin bagel with cream cheese and 3 smearfuls, I started feeling sick and had diarrhea that has lasted off and on for over 12 hours. My last meal prior to the bagel was 5 hours before and I haven't had anything to eat since getting sick, though as soon as I feel well enough to leave the house I'll get some BRAT ingredients. Suffice to say, I will never go back to that Einstein Bagels location ... and likely it will be a long time before I go to any bagel shop. **Besides, when did fast-food drive-thru clerks start expecting tips for handing food from one person to the next? None of the other fast-food restaurants in the area have Tip Jars in the drive-thru window ... just sayin'
