that caused a problem, were the Cream of Mushroom and Cream of Chicken soups. It was my husband who ate those. I was fine eating the Carrot soup and the Lentil soup on those two occasions. They are non-dairy. The mushroom soup tasted ok, but splattered all over the microwave, though covered, which doesn’t normally happen. The chicken soup was tasteless compared with its usual flavour. Those were the only hints one could have that two mouthfuls would cause such a quick and violent stomach pain and vomiting. Gladly he didn’t eat them cold, or tepid like some people might be tempted to do, to save electricity. My husband hasn’t been sick for years, and that was abroad. We have a healthy diet and are very careful with food storage and preparation. The number on the bottom of the tin of Cream of mushroom soup was: 03-2824 LR K8 2059 23:16 The number under the Cream of Chicken soup was: 03-2824 LV K8 2068 01:25 I had a friend who died in 2012, and who was told that his aggressive stomach cancer was very likely to have been caused by a food poisoning episode, and the same happened to my mum, who got sick abroad in 1995, and developed stomach a few months later, though both could have been coincidental, but we prefer to avoid getting sick!
