of vermicelli on the floor had rodent droppings inside. Also, there were numerous dead roaches on the floor, cockroach eggs in one area and a dead roach and roach feces on the outside of a bag of food on the sales floor. Additionally, there were dead weevils on the plastic bags used to repackage bulk foods and numerous flies throughout the facility, with dead flies frozen into the ice of a chest freezer whose door pane was broken. Among other violations, there was a moldy bag of mangos in the cooler, the handwashing sink handles were “encrusted” with buildup, the walk-in cooler door wouldn’t fully latch closed and there was a long list of other areas that needed cleaning or repair.

May 5 to eliminate the vermin. When an inspector returned May 13, there was still excessive fly activity and “copious amounts of rodent droppings” in multiple areas of the store, and rodents had gnawed on several packages of food on the sales floor. The store was permitted to keep selling prepackaged items but no prepared food or repackaged bulk foods, and was told to discontinue all food sales and fully close if it vermin activity continued.

There were weevils in bags of flour and other food and on the shelves, and food was at unsafe temperatures in a cooler that was impounded for not keeping cold.

Ate food at food vender at Hard Rock in the court yard for the At the Beach music Festival. Many others that stayed at Hard Rock and ate food in the court yard have the same symptoms. Friday night started with diarrhea, by sat I had a

I got a 6 piece honey lemon pepper. Ate them when I got home. About 10 minutes after eating I started getting severe stomach pains. Next thing I’m running to the bathroom, diarrhea and nausea! The crazy thing is my daughter told me last week to not
eat popeyes because her brother had got sick after eating it recently. While I’m in the bathroom all she kept saying was “I told you not to eat there mom” Never eating Popeyes again!

After a birthday celebration with the family, we got horrible food poisoning all the way down to my 4 year old. Vomiting, diarrhea, stomach pain. Bathroom visits non stop. My son developed fever and headache too after all the throwing up. An experience no one should go
through. After seeing other locations reporting the same thing, I can definitely say it's a place we won't be visiting any time soon, and won't be recommending to anyone either.

The product, sold only at Marché BKR's, located at 690 Rue Jean-Talon Ouest, Montreal, QC, Canada,
contains wheat, mustard, soy, fish, and eggs, not listed on the label. As of now, no allergic reactions related to this product have been reported to MAPAQ.
