Ate at bubbas with my family around 1pm on Saturday. We shared an appetizer and I was the only one who ordered a burger as an entree. We usually eat here and I always get a burger but this time it tasted funny but I thought maybe... See More they added too much spice to the bubbas sauce. (I’m the only one who got sick from my family) At around 4pm I was painfully bloated. At 6pm I was nauseated and super cold my stomach hurt and so did my back. Between 8:30pm and 9:40pm I vomited 5 times. Between 10pm-10:30pm I vomited 3 more times. All night I woke up sweaty, and cold, and had diarrhea 3 times. Yesterday (Sunday), I could only eat crackers and soup. Couldn’t stay awake longer than 3 hours. I was super cold and shaking wearing leggings, a big t shirt, and socks under two big blankets with my thermostat set at 74 degrees. Every time I stood up I was nauseated and got a migraine. My back pain was at an All time high it was the worst. Last night (Sunday night) I woke up to bad stomach cramps and couldn’t move as doing so hurt so much. Today (Monday) I’m starting to feel better. My stomach still feels weird and I did have diarrhea. The headache isn’t so bad anymore but it’s still there when I’m standing for more than 15 minutes, so I’m taking frequent breaks. The FSIS announced the recall of approximately 621 pounds of fully-cooked chicken product by JX Restaurant, Inc. due to misbranding and undeclared allergens. The product contains sesame oil, a known allergen, which is not declared on the product label. This product was shipped to retail locations in... See More Illinois, Indiana, Missouri, and Wisconsin. There have been no confirmed reports of adverse reactions due to consumption of this product.
The recalled product is:
- 16-oz. plastic trays containing “SISTER SISTER GENERAL TSO’S CHICKEN with FRIED RICE” and lot codes 11/07/23, 11/11/23, 11/17/23, 11/18/23, or 11/19/23 represented on the label.
The affected product was produced on various dates between Oct. 27 and Nov. 8, 2023, and bears establishment number “P-754” inside the USDA mark of inspection.
The problem was discovered by FSIS inspection personnel during a verification task where they discovered that sesame oil was not included on the label.
FSIS is concerned that some product may be in consumers’ refrigerators or freezers. Consumers who have purchased these products are urged not to consume them.
