Friday after school the weekend starting Spring break week in March my oldest had a bowl of Lucky Charms with water as he no longer drinks milk and has severe peanut/tree nut allergies with AuviQ Rx always around. He started feeling nauseated the next morning, and was … See More
not running a fever initially (although thermometers I have due to covid I don't trust--each one gives a different reading). Was not feeling well all day Saturday, but did not have diarrhea or vomiting. Late Sunday afternoon he started feeling some better. In the meantime my younger son wanted lucky Charms with milk for breakfast Sunday and he ate them. Later Sunday he too complained of nausea. They attend different schools, different busses and I'm trying to think what could this be. We quarantined until Wednesday to see if it would pass and they were both starting to act themselves again lots of energy. Neither of them ate Lucky Charms again until Sunday April 5 for breakfast my younger son had them with milk and I ate a new HEB branded cereal with same milk. I had no problems Sunday nor my sons. We ventured to a trampoline venue Sunday afternoon, but were looking, acting and feeling normal. Monday b4 school again younger son ate Lucky Charms with milk everything seemed fine made it through school and went to bed Monday night 9:30pm. He came to me at 9:45 complaining of headache but didnt feel feverish. By 10:30pm he was awakened by vomiting and completely covered himself and bedding. Took a shower, I changed his bedding, and he went back to bed ( didn't take his temp due to need to quickly shower). 11:15 again awakened by vomiting in bed. Another complete change of bedding and had elevated temp but no fever yet. Back to bed 1:20am he vomited again but was able to contain it in vomit bucket. Higher temp, but can't remember number. I gave him ibuprofen and he went back to sleep until morning. He stayed home from school Tuesday and was off/on running fever. Afternoon did a virtual mdlive appt and M.D. prescribed odonseron? For nausea. He started to feel some better, but due to fever had to remain home Wednesday, but had no fever Wednesday so returned to school Thursday and tested covid neg Wednesday night at home. Older son not having any symptoms as he hadn't eaten Lucky Charms this week. Low and behold I (Mom) wake up Friday morning with nausea, loose stool, no fever. After kids left for school I vomited. Started running fever all Friday. No Lucky Charms. Can't figure this out, they ate Lucky Charms and got sick, I didn't eat Lucky Charms and got sick. Whatever is in Lucky Charms causing illness is or becomes transmissable. So now it's my weekend of illness. Friday all day fever, no other vomit session but diarrhea episodes continue until afternoon. Went to bed with acetaminophen due to headache. Woke up Saturday with headache and no energy. Took acetaminophen Saturday couple more times. Began feeling better Sunday. Tested covid neg at home test Monday morning. I have since finding possible link to Lucky Charms labeled bag DO Not Eat. I also am not positive of which Walmart store they were purchased, either Fm529 in 77095 or Fm2920/Kuykendahl in 77379 area. I hope in some way this helps figure this out. Was not feeling any Luck on my sick weekend after caring for my ill son earlier in week. Also, both boys have developed severe chapped lips over April 8-10 weekend despite feeling as if they drank plenty of water. Or just a system reset going on?  | Symptoms: Nausea, Fever, Vomiting

I can Not find a box of good Peanut butter Crunch. Quaker Oats refuses to send me a good box. I Don't think any exists. And I have a complaint with the FDA, but it's going slow.
