I visited Zhangliang Malatang (8/25/23) @ 2:30pm. I did not order much ..1.14lbs + mushroom based soup. about 2:51, a staff member decided to start cleaning up by wiping the empty table and walls with 409 (+Bleach); I saw the spray he was using (you can also
check their inventory of cleaning supplies as well as review their security recordings). I didnt think he would continue but he kept getting closer and closer to my table. He sprayed chemicals on the table surfaces as well as the surrounding walls of the establishment( of course the white wall opposite the frozen items). He sprayed every table in front of us as well as behind me; walls included as I sat adjacent to the wall. I was smelling like CHLORINE all over even before he stopped. After 5 minutes lapsed, I finished my meal, drank my water and paid my bill (about 4 other parties were still remaining). I signed my bill and wrote a note to the cashier/ manager that this worker should not be using such harsh chemicals when people are still eating in the restaurant; he agreed but did nothing. Then at 6pm my stomach rumbled; I felt sick. My wife felt sick earlier at 5:30pm. Chemical poisoning or food poisoning. It was BAD, I visited the restroom 4 more times that night. I tried to sleep but had the shivers even with two blankets!! I ate at this restaurant before but never like this; free Chlorine additives to my soup and drink. I ended upgoing to the bathroom 4 times that night; and tried sleeping but my body kept shivering the entire night. The next day, more visits to the bathroom; 6 total. Then on Sunday, another 6 times. My stomach is still trying to recover. I want people to acknowledge that either the staff did not prep the food correctly AND this establishment should be "Cleaning with HARSH chemicals while customers are still present in the restaurant!!!" Please avoid this restaurant, Zhangliang Malatang of Mountain View California, if you care about your HEALTH!!!

FDA has identified Infinite Herbs-brand organic basil, sold at Trader Joe’s stores across 29 states and D.C., as the potential source of a multistate Salmonella outbreak. The ongoing investigation has so far linked the product to 12 reported cases of illness and one person has been hospitalized.
Sold at Trader Joe’s stores in AL, CT, D.C., DE, FL, GA, IA, IL, IN, KS, KY, MA, MD, ME, MI, MN, MO, NC, NE, NH, NJ, NY, OH, PA, RI, SC, TN, VA, VT, and WI.
Seven of the eight cases with available information reported exposure to fresh organic basil purchased from Trader Joe's before falling ill. Further traceback data collected by the FDA pinpointed Infinite Herbs, LLC, in Miami, FL, as the supplier of the organic basil sold at Trader Joe’s stores. Infinite Herbs, LLC is cooperating with the FDA investigation and has agreed to initiate a voluntary recall.
The product, Infinite Herbs-brand organic basil, is packaged in 2.5-oz clamshell containers and has been removed from Trader Joe's store shelves and this product should no longer be available for sale. Symptoms of Salmonella infection typically manifest within 12 to 72 hours of consuming contaminated food and can last up to a week.
Consumers who purchased organic basil from Trader Joe’s stores in the states listed above should check their refrigerators and freezers and should not eat 2.5-oz packages of Infinite Herbs-brand organic basil. The investigation is ongoing to determine the source of contamination and whether additional products are linked to illnesses.

Ordered the “Big one” pizza. Ate two slices last night for dinner. Woke up at 3 am with diarrhea and then started throwing up at 6 am. Haven’t been able to keep anything down all day. This is horrible.

Three days ago, We stayed at Flag Hotel in Madeira by the sea. We did not eat in the hotel, but we ate at the restaurant nearby, we suspect the food poising from the seafood, mussels and fish. And both my boyfriend and I are suffering from
diarrhea and vomiting. My boyfriend is getting better after two days from sickness, and I am right now still suffering from the pain. Yesterday, we took a boat to Porto Santo and I just staying in a hotel.
