Gold Coast Baking Company has issued a recall for its King Henrys Bakehouse Rye Bread due to the presence of an undeclared allergen, soy. The product was sold in Coles and independent retailers, including IGA, SPAR, Drakes, and Foodworks, in south-east Queensland.AFFECTED PRODUCT
PRODUCT: Gold Coast Baking Company-King Henrys Bakehouse Rye Bread
- 900g packages of the bread
- With best-before dates from 30 March 2026 to 30 April 2026.
The issue was identified due to the presence of soy, which was not declared on the packaging. The recall was initiated on 24 April 2026.
