Update - Yellowfin Tuna Recall Due to Scombroid Concern

As part of the investigation of Yellowfin Tuna products due to the potential to cause Scombroid poisoning the FDA identified Truong Phu Xanh Co., LTD as the common supplier of tuna that was likely consumed by most of the ill people. FDA asked the supplier to initiate a voluntary recall of all of its imported yellowfin tuna but this has yet happened.FDA advises consumers to ask if the yellowfin tuna they are being served or sold was imported from the Vietnamese supplier Truong Phu Xanh Co., LTD; if so, don't purchase it.
