Boulangerie Bagels on Greene ltée, a bakery located at 4160 Saint-Catherine Street West, Westmount, QC, Canada in Montreal, has issued a recall for its "Homemade Hummus" due to potential contamination with the bacteria Bacillus cereus. The recall was announced in collaboration with the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food (MAPAQ) and the Food Inspection Division of the City of Montreal.The product in question is:
- The "Homemade Hummus"
- Sold in individual units.
- All batches with an expiration date prior to September 7 are included in the recall.
- The hummus was packaged in a transparent plastic container
- Was sold either refrigerated or frozen.
- The product was available for sale up until September 10, 2024, exclusively at the aforementioned establishment.
Consumers are advised to not consume and return it to where they purchased it.
