Brazilian Taste, based in Lexington, S.C., is recalling approximately 4,120 pounds of chicken and beef croquettes due to misbranding and an undeclared allergen, sesame. These products were distributed to retail locations in several states and sold nationwide online in the United States.AFFECTED PRODUCTS:
PRODUCT: "SAINT COXINHA XL CHICKEN CROQUETTES"
- 17.63-oz. plastic bag packages containing 5
- With "best by" dates ranging "11/04/2025" to "04/19/2026" printed on the back of the packaging.
PRODUCT: "SAINT COXINHA CHICKEN CROQUETTES"
- 15.8-oz. plastic bag packages containing 15
- With "best by" dates ranging "11/04/2025" to "04/19/2026" printed on the back of the packaging.
PRODUCT: "SAINT COXINHA GROUND BEEF CROQUETTE RISOLE DE CARNE"
- 13.7-oz. plastic bag packages containing 13
- With "best by" date "02/02/2026" printed on the back of the packaging.
The issue was identified when the FDA informed FSIS about sesame in shared bread crumb ingredients not declared on labels. There have been no confirmed adverse reactions. The recall was initiated on November 4, 2025.
