Ventura Foods LLC has initiated a voluntary recall of certain peanut butter products due to the presence of foreign material, specifically blue plastic pieces found during production. The affected products were distributed across multiple states in the United States (AL, AR, AZ, CA, CO, CT, FL, GA, IA, ID, IL, IN, KS, LA, MA, MD, MI, MN, MO, MS, MT, NC, ND, NE, NH, NJ, NM, NV, NY, OH, OK, OR, PA, SC, TN, TX, UT, VA, WA and WI). The issue was discovered during production when blue plastic pieces were found in a filter. The recall, classified as Class II, was initiated on April 30, 2025, and classified on February 12, 2026. The recall is currently ongoing.
