Deluxe Cheesecakes recalled due to undeclared allergens

2 weeks ago source fsai.ie

Recall notice

Ireland

Lidl has issued a recall for its Deluxe Cheesecakes due to undeclared allergens (milk, soya, wheat, egg and hazelnuts). The affected products, which were not labeled in English, were distributed in Lidl stores across the Ireland.

This may make the batches unsafe for consumers who are allergic to or intolerant of wheat, milk, soya, hazelnuts or egg.

The recall involves two products: Deluxe White Chocolate & Berry Cheesecake and Deluxe Chocolate & Hazelnut Cheesecake, both in 480g packs. The implicated batches have best before dates of 02/12/2025 and 03/12/2025 respectively. The White Chocolate & Berry variant contains milk, soya, wheat, and egg, while the Chocolate & Hazelnut variant contains milk, soya, wheat, egg, and hazelnuts.

In case you experience harm from allergens or undeclared ingredients, it is important to report it. It can help to detect & resolve issues and prevent others from being harmed, and it enables better surveillance. If symptoms persist, seek medical care.
