The recalled product is Fit Foods Beef & Mash with Pepper Sauce, packaged in 400g sizes. It is identified by batch code 2528101 and has a use-by date of 20/10/2025.

The issue was discovered during a routine check, leading to the recall being classified as a Class I recall. The recall was initiated following the discovery, with the alert issued under notification 2025.A35.
