Gilmours Jalapeno Flavoured Corn Chips recalled due to undeclared allergen

Foodstuffs Own Brands Ltd has issued a recall for its Gilmours brand Jalapeno Flavoured Corn Chips due to the presence of an undeclared allergen, soy. The product is distributed at Gilmours Wholesale and Trents Wholesale throughout New Zealand.The recall specifically involves the Gilmours brand Jalapeno Flavoured Corn Chips sold in 1.5kg plastic bags. The affected batches bear the best-before dates of 12 January 2025, 02 FEB 2025, 09 FEB 2025, 28 FEB 2025, and 20 MAR 2025. The product has not been exported and this recall does not affect any other Gilmours brand products.
Customers are asked to check the date mark on the packaging. People with a soy allergy should not consume this product. Customers should return the product to their retailer for a full refund.
