La Nicosia bakery Corp of Bronx, NY is recalling its 18oz packages of "8 Pack Rolls" because they may contain an undeclared Soy allergen. This product was distributed in retail stores in the Bronx through independent delivery companies.The product comes in a 18oz clear plastic pack which contains 8 rolls. The bag is marked with a last day of sale on Sunday with a UPC code 83273-00033. The expiration date stamped on the Qwik Lok Bag Tie reads as follows 6/9/22.
The recall was initiated after a routine inspection by New York State Department of Agriculture and Markets Food Inspectors personnel revealed the presence of undeclared soy allergens in the 18oz 8 pack rolls which did not declare soy on the label. No illness or allergic reactions involving this product have been reported to date.
If you have an allergy to Soy do not eat it, it may cause a serious or life-threatening reaction. Please throw it away or return it to the place of purchase for full refund.
