Oxford Pies brand Steak Pie recalled due to undeclared allergen

Oxford Pies is recalling its Steak Pie due to undeclared allergens, egg, and fish. The recall involves the Smoked Fish Pie, which has been incorrectly packaged as the Steak Pie. The product is sold at selected retailers, supermarkets, and service stations throughout the North Island, New Zealand. The issue was discovered when the Smoked Fish Pie was found in packaging labeled as the Steak Pie. This recall does not affect any other Oxford Pies brand products.The product in question is:
- The Oxford Pies brand Steak Pie
-Weighing 220g.
- The batch marking is 013
- With best-before dates marked as 27/01/25 for fresh products and 13/01/26 for frozen ones.
- The product is sold in a single 220g plastic packet.
Consumers who are allergic to eggs and fish are advised to not consume the product and to return it to where they purchased it.
