Raw whole cow milk recalled due to Campylobacter Jejuni

Schoch Family Farmstead, Inc. of Monterey County is recalling its raw whole cow milk due to a confirmed detection of the bacteria Campylobacter jejuni. The recall is statewide and was announced by California State Veterinarian Dr. Annette Jones. The recall does not include other lots or products from Schoch Family Farmstead.

The product in question is:
- "Schoch Family Farmstead Grade A Raw Milk"
- Distributed in half-gallon (64 oz) glass jugs.
- The batch under recall bears a code date "BEST BY 01/24" marked with a sticker on the cap.

Consumers are advised to not consume the product and return it to where they purchased it.
